The Returners joined forces with Vodafone
“There are a large number of highly skilled, experienced and talented women in Luxembourg who would like to restart their career but lack either the confidence or opportunity to do so. This brand alliance will provide flexible working options and support to bring this talent pool back into the workforce.”

Vodafone telco giant have joined forces with local startup company The Job Tailors to encourage people on career breaks to return to work in Luxembourg. The campaign is aimed at people who have been out of the workforce for over a year, many of them likely to be women who have chosen to take a career break to raise a family.

The Vodafone ‘ReConnect’ initiative offers part time and flexible working options in conjunction with in work training to refresh and enhance existing skills. Vacancies on this scheme are now available in Luxembourg where Vodafone employs over 300 people in the Global Procurement, Roaming Services and Innovation Centre.
The Job Tailors offer consultancy services to companies who wish to introduce flexible working solutions to their employees and their ‘Returners’ programme prepares women for their return to the work place by offering coaching sessions, career advice and access to their network.
Carolina De Leon, co-founder of The Job Tailors and responsible for ‘The Returners’, states: “Vodafone has been our role model since we started developing our initiative. We are honored to be given this exciting opportunity to collaborate. Together we can reach our main goal of supporting professional mothers in Luxembourg and easing their way back into the workforce”.
The collaboration will kick off with a ReConnect workshop at the Vodafone office in Kirchberg, to inspire, encourage and equip women to restart their careers in Luxembourg. There will be CV and interview advice, information about the job market in Luxembourg and the opportunity to meet inspiring women who manage a career and a family here in Luxembourg.
